Healing from Within with Dani Williamson, FNP

“Nobody’s perfect, but once you start feeling better, there’s not enough gluten and eggs in the world to make me go back to the way I used to feel.”

- Dani Willamson, FNP

Inflammation is a hot topic in the wellness space. And it matters deeply within the fertility community. In fact, inflammation directly impacts the quality of a woman’s eggs. Some think now, even more so than age!

Inflammation is a driver of many fertility-related issues, including PCOS and endometriosis. It can impact hormones and disrupt ovulation. So what is causing inflammation and how can you address it? I sat down with Dani Williamson, a Family Nurse Practitioner, to dive deep into inflammation and how we can cool our body to maximize our health.

Dani’s practice is founded on the principle that inflammation is the root of 100% of all chronic lifestyle diseases, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, autoimmune diseases, IBS, migraines, anxiety, depression, and fertility issues. And she believes that when you heal your gut and decrease your inflammation, you can manage and even reverse all of these conditions.

Here are some of the top takeaways from my conversation with Dani, and be sure to listen to the whole juicy episode here!

How Do I Know If I’m Inflamed?

For Dani, the question is not are you inflamed, but how inflamed are you? Common signs of inflammation include fatigue, depression, migraines, and gut issues. Tune in to the episode for the top tests Dani recommends that you request from your medical provider to determine how inflammation may be affecting your body.
